Our extensive portfolio of services includes the provision of ConstructionCommercial Refurbishment, Repairs and Maintenance, Mechanical and Electrical engineering (M&E), Regeneration Programmes, Energy Efficiency and Renewables, and Facilities Management. We offer a totally integrated building solution.


As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking company you will contribute significantly through your ability to identify improvements to our HR administration processes whilst delivering great admin support to the Head of People and wider senior management team. You’ll provide comprehensive HR advice to stakeholders, aiding management decision-making through advising and guiding stakeholders on company policy, procedures, and current legislation, and initiating projects and initiatives to develop a high-performance organisation.

Job Description


  • Support line managers in their people management responsibilities, such as performance management, employee engagement, etc, reinforcing good practice and advising on company policy and procedures. Including actively supporting line managers through attending selection interviews, disciplinary hearings, exit interviews, etc
  • Support employees in developing their competence and potential, such as providing support tools, conducting career development discussions, advising on appraisals, etc
  • Evaluate Management Information, draw conclusions, evaluate options, and take steps to address issues arising (through providing advice and/or initiating improvement projects)
  • Contribute to, and initiate, HR projects (eg designing candidate attraction strategies, training courses, talent planning, multi-skilling schemes, etc), providing statistics and business-focused reports that demonstrate the effectiveness of HR activities
  • Co-ordinate and enhance Early Careers activities, including co-ordinating recruitment & selection activity, monitoring progress of trainees, liaising with external parties, etc
  • To contribute to maintaining an accurate HR database that provides quality management information in a timely manner, including input and update of data into the HR system, ensuring data is 100% accurate

Desired/Essential Criteria:

  • Graduate calibre, ideally with CIPD Level 3 qualification, supported by 2 years’ HR experience
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite of packages
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage own workload
  • Personal determination and enthusiasm to drive dynamic change and growth
  • Strong customer focus
  • Willingness to put forward new ideas and think outside of the box – challenge the norm
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and good basic Project Management skills
  • Able to work as part of a team or independently
  • Flexible, adaptable and mobile
  • Self starter
