Due to our continued success and on-going commitment to providing a world-class service to our customers, we are looking to recruit Electricians for our Domestic Maintenance Business.

Our extensive portfolio of services includes the provision of Construction, Commercial Refurbishment, Repairs and Maintenance, Engineering Services, Regeneration Programmes, Energy Efficiency and Renewables, and Facilities Management. We offer a totally integrated building solution.

 

 

 

Job Description


This will be a full time and permanent position at 40 hours per week. Working hours will be 8.00am – 4.30pm. The role will be based across the East Midlands areas. The successful candidate will be subject to a mandatory DBS/CRB check before commencing works.

 

The Candidate

 

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Electrical works on domestic housing.
  • Working as part of a dedicated team.
  • Undertaking periodic testing and inspection works.
  • Installation works on domestic properties.
  • Adhering to current Health and Safety legislation and practices.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the level of the post.

 

Experience:

  • Multiple years’ experience in domestic electrical installation works
  • Multiple years’ experience in periodic Inspection & Testing works

 

Competences:

  • Safety – Follows safety precautions and displays safe on-the-job behaviour.
  • Service Orientation – Creates customer loyalty through courteous, timely, and helpful service.
  • Following Procedures – Adheres to directions, policies and/or legal guidelines.
  • Stress Tolerance – Handles pressure without getting upset, moody or anxious.
  • Planning / Organising – Coordinates and directs routine activities effectively.
  • Communication – ability to listen to the concerns and needs of others and relay information accordingly.

 

Qualifications:

  • A current and valid ECS Card
  • Working knowledge of Part P, practical experience and qualifications (NVQ or AM2) or equivalent.
  • Hold City & Guilds 2330, 2360 or equivalent.
  • Holds BS7671 18TH Edn Update.
  • Holds Inspect & Testing qualifications – City & Guilds 2391 or 2394 & 2395 or equivalent.
  • UK Driving Licence.
