Job Description

Ensuring all Purchase Orders are raised accurately and efficiently and keep queries to a minimum.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Process all Sub Contractor Purchase Orders as required.
  • Track all Orders & Invoices through to Payment Stage ensuring a efficient process is followed.
  • Ensure that the parts are ordered accurately and as quickly as possible.
  • IFS system is kept fully updated at all times;
  • Ensure all the Tradex data is kept to a minimum and all queries dealt with.
  • Reporting to Systems Manager and appropriate Manager with regard to any discrepancies on orders from engineers / CLO’s.
  • Liaising with Supervisors and Managers for day-to-day operations of the contracts.
  • Undertake tasks as assigned by the Systems Manager or Operations Manager.
  • Work with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as directed and deemed reasonable
  • Monitor own attendance to achieve as high a level as possible and that the Bradford Factor is not reached.
  • All parts are to be chased form the suppliers on a daily basis and the repairs team notified of any issues.
  • Information Analysis – Gathers, organises, and analyses diverse sources of information
    • Planning / Organising – Coordinates and directs routine activities effectively
  • Service Orientation – Creates customer loyalty through courteous, timely, and helpful service
  • Following Procedures Adheres to directions, policies and/or legal guidelines

·         Formal technical qualification: NVQ3 Contact Centre Operations / Customer Service (E)

·         Skills in Customer Service & Communication; Professional Call Handling, Effective Email & Letter Writing, Conflict Management
