J Tomlinson Awarded One-Year Extension to Hard Facilities Management Contract by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service

J Tomlinson are proud to continue their partnership with long-term client South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, after being awarded a one-year extension on their hard facilities management contract.
After being awarded the five-year hard facilities management contract in 2018, J Tomlinson were assigned to service 22 sites across Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, and Sheffield, with works comprising of inclusive planned preventative maintenance and reactive works.
Since then, the South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and J Tomlinson have continued to maintain a strong working relationship through a collaborative approach in order to maximise asset functionality and lifespan of facilities.
J Tomlinson Managing Director for Facilities Management, Andrew Nichol said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service to the end of 2024. We have faced some challenging times during the last three years, however now together we can look to shape the way forward and continue to deliver great service and innovation.
“The blue light sector is a key focus to us and we look forward to not only retaining our current presence, but growing this through our knowledge, experience, and desire to deliver.”
J Tomlinson have generated a strong presence across the blue light sector within the Yorkshire district, providing facilities management services to long-term clients including South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS), North Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Police, and South Yorkshire Police.
J Tomlinson, which was founded in Nottingham the 1950s, works primarily across the Midlands, Yorkshire and Northern and Central England.
