J Tomlinson Awarded Two-Year Contract with Charnwood Borough Council to Deliver Capital Works Programme

J Tomlinson are pleased to announce their newly established two-year partnership with Charnwood Borough Council, after being appointed to deliver their Capital Works Programme for homes across the borough.
Awarded through the EEM Framework, the programme comprises of full and partial kitchen, bathroom, WC replacements together with associated works, including internal and external structural alterations, and void property refurbishments.
Charnwood Borough Council manages around 5,500 residential dwellings dispersed across the borough, situated in the North of Leicestershire.
Lead member for public housing, Cllr James Poland said: “I welcome this new contract and continued investment into our properties. These improvements to amenities such as bathrooms and kitchens will provide a better standard of living for our tenants.
“I’m looking forward to seeing J Tomlinson delivering the works to a high standard as well as demonstrating care for our tenants.”

J Tomlinson, which was founded in Nottingham the 1950s, works primarily across the Midlands, Yorkshire and Northern and Central England.
The company provides a range of sustainable building solutions including refurbishment, repairs and maintenance, engineering services, extra care construction, renewable energy, and facilities management, working across a range of key sectors including extra care, healthcare, blue light, social housing and local government.
