J Tomlinson seals deal on specialist recruitment partnership

J Tomlinson has partnered with specialist recruitment partner, Andersen James, to help nurture the next generation of talent in the building industry.
Having worked together since 2015, Andersen James has previously recruited more than 100 candidates in a wide range of office and field-based roles across the J Tomlinson group, which employs just under 500 staff.
The partnership will focus on creating an embedded recruitment solution to amplify the J Tomlinson brand across a variety of sectors including care, maintenance, FM and engineering, enhancing the candidate journey via a consistent, individual-centric, cradle-to-grave approach that aligns with the company’s One Team ethos.
Working closely with the J Tomlinson team, Andersen James will assist the group in nurturing the sector’s next generation of talent with an apprenticeship assessment strategy and the launch of an exciting new trainee programme. With youth unemployment in the UK at its highest since 2016, J Tomlinson is committed to providing quality training and support to young people, helping them gain a head start in their career, whatever their chosen path.
The specialist recruitment partner will also offer strategic support in the attraction and recruitment of new talent at J Tomlinson, as well as helping to future-proof the business with employee engagement and retention strategies in line with the company’s One Team values and behaviours.
