J Tomlinson secures largest gas contract to date with Bromford

J Tomlinson has been awarded a £10.5m heating maintenance contract spanning northern central England – the company’s largest gas contract to date.

The appointment follows a comprehensive tender process in which the maintenance, construction and refurbishment services partner scored the highest in both geographical lots that were up for grabs from Midlands-based housing association Bromford.

Both three-year contracts, which will commence in September and have the potential to extend for another 24 months, will see J Tomlinson delivering heating maintenance and repairs to Bromford customers all the way from Erewash in Derbyshire to South Staffordshire.

The scope of works covers a wide range of heating systems, including oil and gas, as well as renewable energy sources comprising ground source heat pumps (GSHP), air source heat pumps (ASHP) and solar heating.

J Tomlinson and Bromford have enjoyed a close partnership since 2005, with J Tomlinson having been the incumbent provider of a 3* gas servicing and maintenance contract covering Bromford’s North East region. The excellent partnership between the two parties has prompted several contract renewals over the past twelve years due to excellent KPI management, community engagement, and as well as a joint customer-focussed approach.
