J Tomlinson shortlisted for six awards
January 10, 2018
J Tomlinson has been shortlisted for six prestigious awards, in a great start to the new year.
The property services company was announced as a finalist in both the National Housing Maintenance Forum Awards and the Building Communities Awards.
The NHMF awards celebrate organisations working within the housing sector who have excelled in improving the quality and the efficiency of the services they provide. J Tomlinson and client Nottingham City Homes have been recognised in the awards’ Best Contract category, following a successful partnership which has seen multiple benefits experienced by residents, the client and the wider community. The Best Contract award is judged on both quality and cost.
Hosted by Midlands-based procurement consortium, EEM Ltd, the Building Communities Awards are designed to ‘recognise the professionalism, excellence and innovation sitting at the heart of the region’s construction and housing community in both the public and the private sectors’.
J Tomlinson has been recognised in five categories; two of which - Collaborative Working and Project of the Year - follow joint submissions from J Tomlinson and housing organisation, Ashfield District Council. J Tomlinson has had a positive long-term relationship with the organisation stretching back over more than ten years, providing a range of maintenance and repair contracts, as well as undertaking more than £30m worth of improvements to Ashfield District Council’s housing stock.
