J Tomlinson signs £30m partnership with St Leger Homes of Doncaster to improve homes in Doncaster

It was announced this week that J Tomlinson will partner with St Leger Homes of Doncaster on a four-and-a-half-year, £30m contract to deliver specialist planned improvement and reactive maintenance work – alongside in-house teams – bringing real improvements to homes across Doncaster.
The comprehensive scope of works will include roofing and external wall insulation, window and door replacements, kitchen and bathroom replacements, electrical rewires and upgrades, structural works, fire safety works and ad-hoc responsive repairs.
Enhancing energy efficiency across Doncaster homes
Making environmental improvements is a key priority for both parties, and the partnership will look to maximise energy efficiency and optimise the lifecycle and energy performance rating of St Leger Homes properties, improving the thermal comfort for tenants whilst helping households lower their fuel bills. The appointment followed a comprehensive tender process in which all competing contractors were assessed on price and quality, with a key focus on providing social value and reinvesting into Doncaster’s communities.
