J Tomlinson win Health and Safety title at East Midlands Celebrating Construction Awards

J Tomlinson is celebrating after being crowned Health and Safety winner at the 2019 East Midlands Celebrating Construction Awards.
The Nottingham-based construction, refurbishment and maintenance services partner’s contributions to health and safety in the construction industry were recognised at the awards, with key achievements over the past year including an 9% reduction in accidents, the expansion of its centralised SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) team, and the introduction of a Mental Health First Aid team across the business. In addition, the company recently introduced 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme to help support its growing team of employees by providing free, accessible counselling and advice to individuals and their families.
The annual Celebrating Construction Awards celebrate the ever-developing construction landscape in the East Midlands, and are widely by industry professionals across the region and beyond.
