J Tomlinson’s most recent internal award winners announced

The winners of J Tomlinson’s most recent quarterly WOW and Safetys Awards have been announced!

Here’s a recap of who won and why:

WOW Award Winners – Dee van Deventer, Chris Twell and Rachel Smyth (Regeneration department)

Resident Liaison Officer, Dee, Site Manager, Chris, and Quantity Surveyor, Rachel, were nominated under the ‘One Team’ category following excellent feedback from our client, Midland Heart, praising the team’s proactive and efficient contract management and customer engagement.

The winning team commented: “There is no better feeling then your hard work being validated and appreciated - not only by our client but by our colleagues, too.”

Safetys Award Winner - Dylan Renshaw (Regeneration department)

Management Trainee, Dylan, was nominated following his excellent communication skills, tenacity and accountability in resolving a critical issue on behalf of one of J Tomlinson’s longest-standing Nottinghamshire-based clients, staying on site until late evening and liaising closely with residents, the client and the wider project team whilst ensuring the system was fully compliant before the weekend.

Dylan commented: “I’m very surprised and grateful to have received the quarterly safety award. I would just like to say thanks to Julian Wright for the nomination and to everyone else who has supported me during my first eight months at J Tomlinson, which I have thoroughly enjoyed”.

Launched by J Tomlinson in 2016, the WOW and Safetys Awards are designed to recognise and reward colleagues and teams for their commitment to upholding the company’s visions and values. All quarterly winners and runners-up are automatically put forward for the chance to win top prizes at the end of the year, which can include team-building days, outdoor activities, theme park visits, and more.

Each quarter, employees are encouraged to nominate individuals or teams that have gone above and beyond to deliver excellence both internally and externally, make strides in personal development, and demonstrate our health and safety standards.
