New improvement works framework for J Tomlinson
December 11, 2019
Procurement organisation and social enterprise Fusion21 has announced that J Tomlinson Ltd is one of the successful suppliers appointed to its national Improvement Works Framework – worth up to £250 million over a four-year period.
A total of 66 highly skilled firms – including more than 80% SMEs – have secured a place on the framework which has been developed to support public sector organisations (including housing associations; NHS trusts and education providers) to deliver planned component and building improvement works.
About Fusion21’s Improvement Works framework
The framework offers a range of internal and external improvement works from the installation of kitchens and bathrooms to fire doors, communal entrance doors, roofing and electrical works. Fusion21 members will also have the option to commission multi-trade internal and external works suited to combined programmes or smaller scale projects.
Earlier this year, J Tomlinson was one of 45 firms selected by Fusion21 for its national Construction Works & Improvements Framework, which is estimated to be worth up to £800m over four years and will deliver capital works programmes across housing, education, healthcare and other public sector projects.
This latest framework complements Fusion21’s Construction Works Framework.
J Tomlinson’s regeneration director, Ant Newton, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed on this Fusion21 framework, which is the latest in a number of frameworks that J Tomlinson has been selected for.”
