The scope included full refurbishment of the care home and associated facilities. Major internal works were required, including decorations, floor coverings, heating system replacement and enlargement of the reception area.

The Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust Intensive Support Service Unit (ISSU) comprises a purpose built, state-of-the-art eight bed inpatient unit, including two self-contained step down flats, as well as a number of clinical and activity rooms which can be used by the community and bed-based service users.

Promens Packaging in Lowestoft develops plastic packaging for medical, personal care, chemical, household and food markets. The UK’s largest solar energy developer, Lightsource Renewable Energy Limited, approached Promens with a PV proposal to improve its carbon footprint and green credentials and also to reduce energy costs at its plant in North Suffolk.

Following a competitive tender process J Tomlinson was appointed as main contractor to work on the final phase of improvement works throughout Vision West Nottinghamshire College, including the six storey tower, the bridge to the six storey tower, the Enviro Block, the three storey tower, the Trades Building, the Learning Resource Centre, the Sherwood Building and the ‘Number 19’ building.

English Heritage exists to help people understand, value, care for and enjoy England's unique heritage, and are best known for looking after the National Heritage Collection of historic sites and monuments. One of their sites is Brodsworth Hall, an unique visitor attraction in South Yorkshire, where English Heritage required a new visitor centre.
