J Tomlinson were successful in securing the design and installation of the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E;) services including renewable technologies, for a new school building at the privately funded, King’s School in Worcester.
Established in 1991 by the University of Nottingham, the clinic was making great progress studying the science of IVF, along with research into new treatments. This led to Nurture being named as the most successful clinic in the Midlands in 2008.
Following the successful award of grant money from the European Regional Development Fund and the Heritage Lottery Fund, Culture Coventry was able to proceed with plans to redevelop Coventry Transport Museum and Old Grammar School.
The GE Measurement and Control site at Groby in Leicestershire underwent a major refurbishment following a fire at the premises in 2014. The £2.4 million office refurbishment was a joint delivery between J Tomlinson’s construction division and our M&E; services team.
Long-established as a very popular and successful primary school, Starbank School in Birmingham had been identified as an ideal candidate to become an all-through school, meeting local demand for places. The school proposed to construct a new two and three storey building on an existing site as accommodation for the additional pupils.
